I work with athletes and performers of all ages and experience levels, from youth athletes and high school teams to professionals and elite competitors, to help them build a system of mental skills that are effective and accessible when it matters most.
My philosophy of practice takes a systematic, focus first approach. My experience as a competitive athlete has taught me the importance of thinking in terms of how my techniques work together as a system rather than focusing on the individual moves. I have applied this same approach in my work as a consultant, focusing on helping athletes build an integrated network of tools instead of focusing on each skill in isolation. The skills I teach work together as a system to help athletes and teams develop what I believe is the most important skill that any athlete or performer can have: the ability to focus on the right thing at the right time.
Through my own experiences as both a competitive athlete and consultant, I developed what became the AMPS Approach — a framework born from the realization that mental performance isn’t about mastering isolated skills, but about building a system that works seamlessly to drive consistent, high-level performance in any situation. The AMPS Approach combines proven mental performance techniques into one cohesive framework designed to create lasting, meaningful performance enhancement.
My path into psychology formally began at the University of Florida, where I graduated summa cum laude with dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminology. Through my experiences as a competitive athlete, I recognized firsthand that my passion lies in helping other athletes use mental skills to perform and feel their best. That realization led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology at National University, where I graduated with Distinction and completed all CMPC requirements through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.

As a member of the team I have had the opportunity to represent the U.S.A. at several international events, including two World Championships in Japan, the Pan American Championship in Brazil, and the World Cup in Bulgaria. Competing at the international level has taught me firsthand just how powerful the mental side of sport can be, and it’s why I love sharing these tools with others. This dual perspective—as both consultant and competitor—allows me to connect deeply with athletes and provide practical strategies that translate directly to performance.
Whether you’re an athlete or performer striving to gain a competitive edge, a parent supporting your child’s journey, or a coach working to build stronger team culture, I am committed to helping you unlock your advantage and develop a system of mental skills necessary for long-term success.
